The Sawtooth National Forest Map produced by the US Forest Service contains the most current information on roads, trails, recreation sites, travel restrictions and contact phone numbers for the Sawtooth National Forest.
The Minidoka Ranger District is divided into sections named for the scenic mountain ranges included in each area. The Albion Mountains, Black Pine, Sublett, Raft River, and Cassis Divisions each contain more than 70,000 acres of forested land south of Burley, Idaho, and the northern portions of Utah. Recreation is undoubtedly the most popular pursuit on the Minidoka Ranger District. Summer activities include camping, picnicking, hiking, rock climbing, hang gliding, horseback riding, mountain biking, plus all-terrain vehicle trail machine riding.
The map is produced on waterproof, tear-resistant plastic at a scale of 1/2 inch to the mile. Shaded relief allows for easy recognition of topography. The map also shows hunting districts.
