The Sawtooth National Forest Map, Ketchum & Fairfield Ranger Districts and the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, produced by the US Forest Service, contains the most current information on roads, trails, recreation sites, travel restrictions and contact phone numbers available.
The area encompasses 2.1 million acres in some of the nation’s most magnificent country. Recreational opportunities on the Sawtooth National Forest are unlimited. Throughout the Forest, a wide variety of opportunities exist from very primitive to highly developed recreation sites, no matter what season.
The map is produced on waterproof, tear-resistant plastic at a scale of 1/2 inch to the mile. Shaded relief allows for easy recognition of topography. The map also shows hunting districts.
