Payette National Forest Map – McCall & Krassel

Bordered by two of the deepest canyons in North America and containing vast portions of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, the Payette National Forest encompasses some of Idaho’s most diverse and beautiful country. The topography is characterized by rough mountains, deep canyons, mountain meadows, rivers and streams, and high mountain lakes. Here, one can easily access hot, desert-like areas as well as heavily forested alpine regions through an extensive system of Forest roads and trails.

The map is 1/2 inch to the mile, has contour lines, game units, campgrounds, points of interest, and all the latest roads and trails to get you to your destination. One side contains the map itself, and the other is full of color pictures and descriptive text, as well as all the current phone numbers and addresses of ranger district offices and related agencies.
