Bridger Teton National Forest Map – Buffalo, Jackson RD

Over three million acres of National Forest lies in western Wyoming, adjoining Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Grand Teton National Forest is noted for its splendid scenery and natural landscape, wildlife, and abundant recreation. The forest includes headwaters of three nationally significant rivers (the Yellowstone, Snake and Green). They offer outstanding fisheries and have been found eligible for inclusion in the national Wild and Scenic Rivers system.

Some major points of interest include the Snake River Canyon, the Wyoming Centennial Scenic Byway and The Gros Ventre Slide.
