Ashley National Forest, located in northeastern Utah and southwestern Wyoming, covers over 1.3 million acres. Within its boundaries are Kings Peak (Utah’s highest mountain at 13,538 ft.), Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, the Flaming Gorge-Uintas Wildlife-through-the-Ages National Scenic Byway, and the High Uintas Wilderness. A great get-away destination for camping, boating, hiking, biking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing and wildlife watching. Elevations range from 6,000 feet to over 13,500 feet.
The Ashley National Forest map of Roosevelt and Duchesne Ranger Districts contains the latest recreation and travel information to guide you through this scenic area. The waterproof and tear-resistant map contains contour lines, major ownership and is at a scale of 1/2 inch to the mile. It offers four scenic byways, historic information and guidance for boaters, floaters, campers and winter recreationists.
