Satellite Poster Map of Rocky Mountain National Park

Established on January 26, 1915, Rocky Mountain National Park is a living showcase of the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains. With elevations ranging from 8,000 feet in the wet, grassy valleys to 14,259 feet at the weather-ravaged top of Longs Peak, a visitor to the park has opportunities for countless breathtaking experiences and adventures.

This satellite image of Rocky Mountain National Park was created using Landsat Orthorectified ETM+ Pan-Sharpened data, and draped with National Elevation Dataset (NED) topographic data. The map is printed on archival quality luster finish photo paper.

The majority of Terra Prints are created using data collected from the ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer) satellite sensor. With its 14 spectral bands from the visible to the thermal infrared wavelength region, and its high spatial resolution of 15 meters (about 50 feet), ASTER images Earth to map and monitor the changing surface of our planet.

The beautiful colors and remarkable imagery of these posters make for the perfect addition to any office, home or school setting.
